Tunbridge Wells (First Show), Oct. 22 Review
I saw the Tunbridge Wells show tonight and was blown away...
Greg really has put together an excellent band and there was no sign of any first night gremlins.
The show got better as the night went on and the band settled into it. If I have one criticism, I would say that it was a shame it had to end so early (9:45). It would have been nice to round the show off with a couple of acoustic numbers, but I can't really complain after a superb show like that.
Here are (some) of the songs performed tonight:
- In the Court of the Crimson King
- 21st Century Schizoid Man
- From the Beginning
- Take a Pebble
- Lucky Man
- Karn Evil 9 1st Impression (Welcome Back My Friends)
- I Believe in Father Christmas
- Love You Too Much
- Paper Blood
- Fanfare for the Common Man
- Pictures at an Exhibition
- Farewell to Arms
- Footprints in the Snow
I'm sure there were more but my memory fails me...
If anyone is in doubt about whether to go and see Greg on this tour, take it from me, you will not be disappointed.
